Obi mobiles- the former Apple CEO John Sculley-backed smartphone company, has introduced its first Android smartphone in the form of Octopus S520 in the Indian market today. The phone is priced at 11,990, and it is available for purchase from Snapdeal.com. The company has not revealed the details regarding its broader availability, but it stated that the company has opened 95 service centers across the country to cater to after-sales service needs of the consumers.
According to the company, the Octopus S520 sports 5-inch HD IPS display, Android 4.4 Kitkat and packs an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory as well as 2MP front camera and 8MP rear camera with LED flash.
In addition, the smartphone includes dual-SIM and 32GB microSD card support, 1800 mAh battery, 3G and usual set of connectivity features like WI-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
