Within a week of announcing its first KitKat powered Unite 2 A106 smartphone, Micromax seems to be planning to roll out its second affordable KitKat running smartphone in the country. This second KitKat running smartphone which is dubbed as Micromax A105, is just spotted listed at e-retailer HomeShop18 where it’s currently out of stocks. But we’re hoping that the retailer will soon get the stocks in few coming days.
According to the HomeShop18 product listing, the Micromax A105 sporst 5-inch WVGA display, dual-SIM support, and comes powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. In addition to running on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the smartphone packs 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1900 mAh battery.
On the imaging front, Micromax has included a 5MP rear shooter along with LED flash and 0.3MP front camera on the smartphone. Among the other specifications, it has 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 32GB microSD support.
Although there is no word on the availability date, HomeShop18 shows the Micromax A105’s price as 6,999. At this pricing, it will be competing with the likes of Moto E, Lava IRIS X1, and XOLO Q600s. The official announcement of the device is expected to be in coming weeks.
