A report published in Engadget claims that the upcoming HTC M8 Ace–a variant of M8 one will come encased in plastic unibody build instead of Aluminium build in HTC M8 One.
The report further notes that the HTC M8 Ace will pack 5-inch full HD 1080p display, and would be powered by a 2.5GHZ quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor similar to the One M8. The remaining hardware details of the device are not clear, also there is no word if it would sport Duo camera arrangement.
With the plastic build in HTC M8 Ace that would obviously reduce the pricing of the device, the company is looking forward to target Samsung Galaxy S5 with its affordable and competitive pricing, adds the report.
In addition to M8 Ace, HTC has also set its eyes to launch HTC M8 Mini–a low cost and mini variant of M8. The specifications of the HTC M8 Mini is rumoured to include 4.5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and Android 4.4 KitKat. It is also expected to come with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing.
