After the launch of the rugged version Moto G Forte in Mexico, Motorola is now reportedly working on LTE and Ferrari edition of Moto G smartphone which will be targeted at customers belonging to developed markets.
According to the report of Xataka, the LTE enabled Moto G will pack specifications similar to 3G variant, but it will come powered by MSM8926 Snapdragon 400 chipset, because the MSM8226 SoC which is currently powering the 3G variant of Moto G lacks LTE support. Likely to be available only in 16GB variant, it is highly inclined to be priced around 3439 Mexican Pesos (15,900 approx.), and will be shipped with a free flip cover. The LTE-enabled Moto G is expected to be launched in June.
On the other hand, the Ferrari edition of Moto G is expected to be introduced in the second half of this year, and it would come in Red colour having Ferrari branding on the front and a logo on the back. It is not clear whether this version will pack similar specifications as Moto G, but it will have LTE support. The pricing for the Moto G Ferrari version is not clear yet.
