The indigenous phone maker Micromax is reportedly planning to launch its first 3D smartphone in few coming days in the country. This alleged 3D smartphone is likely to be named Canvas 3D A115 and will come under 15,000.
The smartphone is speculated to come with Android v4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 1GHz dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage out of the box. Having 5-inch display with 800x480p resolution, it will feature 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera and microSD slot for memory expansion.
On the connectivity front, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB.
Other than 3D features, speculation is rife that the phone will support 3D interface, but lack 3D playback capabilities. LG Optimus 3D, priced around 26,000, is currently the only phone that supports 3D playback in the Indian market.
As the company is planning to launch the smartphone next week, it is already spotted listed in Saholic with unspecified price and unknown release date.
