Apple’s Efforts to curb the Flashback Trojan Horse
Apple has said on their website :
In addition to the java vulnerability, the Flashback Malware relies on the computer server hosted by the malware author to perform many of its critical functions. Apple is working with ISPs worldwide to disable this command or control network.
However, Apple has started the process of developing such a tool that will detect and remove this Flashback Trojan Horse from the infected Macs. It is not clear yet when this removal tool will be available. The company has suggested its Mac OS X v 10.5 users to disable the Java in their web browsers.
