In Windows, to run a program that you use regularly, you first use to pin that program either in start menu or taskbar. If there is any shortcut icon available for that program on desktop, then you also use them in order to run the particular program in your computer. But you know, a lot of programs pinned in start menu and taskbar look like clutter and also there is a limitation beyond which your pinned program doesn’t appear in start menu and taskbar.
Keeping this in mind, a lot of application launchers and file management tools have been developed for Windows especially for Windows 7. While most of the Windows users are satisfied with default start menu, quick launch, and taskbar to pin and launch the programs but there are still many especially Windows 8 users who are not happy with this and they are looking for a dedicated program that lets to launch any program right from the taskbar without going to start menu.
There is a tiny utility named miniWE that fulfills this desire and enables you to open any program, file or folder right from the taskbar. Once you install this, you will find miniWE icon in taskbar and by clicking it you can explore the launcher. By default the launcher shows all files, folders and installed programs in your desktop.
Actually this program may be most suitable for Windows 8 users as then can use the program to launch any application quickly without switching to metro start.
