Are there a lot of program icons, folders and files scattered in your desktop? When you install a fresh copy of Windows first time then a clean desktop appear which looks quite good. But as time passes a lot of files, folders and some shortcuts of your favorite installed apps get accumulated in your desktop which looks quite odd. Having a lot of folders, files and program icons on the desktop may be convenient for some users as they can launch any program quickly right from the desktop and they can access mandatory files and folders as quickly as possible. But for others it may be a matter of irritation. Earlier my desktop was also filled up with a lot of icons and it looked very messed up. Then I found an ultimate app called Fences developed by Stardock, which has made my desktop loop more attractive.

Desktop View after Installation of Fences
Features of Fences

Fences Settings
You can also change Fences layout settings as it has seven in-built layouts. You can create a new fence by drawing a square in your desktop using the right mouse button and fences area can be moved and resized by grabbing their edges. One of the most attractive feature of it is when you double click on the desktop all fences along with the icons disappear instantly and when you double click again the fences reappear.
