You got a message in other language and want to translate it in your language then what will you do? Possibly like others you will also navigate to Google translate in order to translate that message in your own language. But now Gmail has introduced an app which lets you to translate your messages from one language to another language right from your Gmail Inbox. There is no need to navigate to Google translate.

How to Enable Message Translation in Gmail Labs?

  1. Login to your Gmail account and click on Gear icon located in the top right corner and select Settings from contextual menu.

  2. Now in the Settings window, click on Labs and type “Message Translation” in “Search for a lab” box. It instantly gives the result and shows the Message translation app. Turn on Enable radio button and click on Save Changes button.

  3.  Now to check whether it is enabled or not, move to your Gmail Inbox and open any message. There you can see a toolbar containing Translate message link and also the menu containing list of From and To languages.

Now whenever you receive messages in other languages, select your desired language you want to translate in and click on Translate message link. The message will be translated in to your selected language instantly right in the inbox itself.
