Moving one step forward Google has introduced a Flight Search Engine especially for the purpose to find and quickly book the flights from USA to around 500 cities located outside the USA. However, Google hasn’t provided the comprehensive list of the destination cities but most of the European and Asian cities and capitals are available. It will be interesting to see how well it’ll compete when there already are several traveling sites and search engines available.
The user interface of this search engine is very convenient and it also displays the map from source to destination path. You have to just enter the source city and destination city along with the journey date and it gives the list of available flights on that schedule. It also provides the airline’s name, fare along with the route map. Right now the PC version of Flight Search is more challenging to use than some of its rivals — Kayak for example. The mobile and iPad versions of Google Flight Search are simpler and less cluttered. However, its success will depend on how Google promotes flight search results in a general search query. If it proves a huge success then in near future we expect that Google will add some more airports in their destination list.
