The south Korean tech giant LG has unveiled the LTE version of recently announced flagship G3 in the form of G3 Cat.6 in home market today. According to the company, this high-end smartphone will come in Metallic Black, Silk White and Gold Shine colour options. There is no word on its pricing as well as global availability right now, but we’re hoping that the device will see its international release in coming months.
On the specs side, the LG G3 Cat.6 features 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, 13MP rear camera with laser auto-focus and OIS+, 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.2 similar to G3, but the company has provided a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor instead of the 801 present in the original G3.
At the launch, LG has announced that the phone will be available only in 32GB storage + 3GB RAM version and there will be also a microSD card slot with support upto 128GB.
The LG G3 Cat.6 will be competing with the like of LTE-version of Galaxy S5 which Samsung released over a month back.
