The Japanese tech giant Sony has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, called Xperia T3 which Sony claims is the world slimmest smartphone with 5.3-inch HD display. The pricing for the phone is not clear yet, but it will be available in Black, White and Purple color options. It would go on sale from the end of July 2014 globally.
In addition to the 5.3-inch HD TRILUMINOS Display for mobile with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, the Sony Xperia T3 features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) processor clocked at 1.4 GHz, 1GB RAM, 8GB on-board internal memory, and runs on latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
Powered by a 2500 mAh Battery with STAMINA mode, the phone also includes 1.1MP HD front camera, 8MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, LED flash and 1080p video recording support. The media storage of the phone is also expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
According to Sony, the smartphone is just 7mm thick, slightly thinner than the Xperia T2 Ultra, and comes encased in a stainless steel frame with aluminium power button. It will be available in both 3G HSPA+ (D5102) and 4G (D5103 and D5106) variants.
