XOLO is soon going to introduce an affordable smartphone in the Indian market in upcoming 2-3 days. The smartphone which is dubbed as XOLO A500s Lite, is currently listed at XOLO’s official website for a price of 5,499.
For this pricing, XOLO will offer 4-inch WVGA IPS display and a dual-core MediaTek MTK6572 processor clocked at 1.3GHz processor in the A500s. The phone will pack 512MB of RAM, 3MP rear camera, VGA front camera as well as 3G and dual-SIM support.
The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and its 4GB on-board storage can be further expanded by up tp 32GB microSD card. XOLO has included a 1400 mAh battery in the phone which is claimed to offer ample talktime and standby time to users. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB v2.0.
In addition, The XOLO A500s Lite supports 10 Indian languages, and with its multiple-language supporting keyboard, it lets you to type in the chosen language of your preference. The phone is made of plastic and and will come with a faux-leather finish on the back cover, which as per XOLO, makes it look elegant.
Targeted to first time smartphone buyers, the phone seems decent but for just 1,500 more, one can buy Moto E, which packs better specifications and runs on the latest version of Android.
