The Indigenous phone maker Lava has introduced its latest Android 4.4 KitKat powered mid-range smartphone in the Indian market today. The smartphone which is dubbed as Iris X1, is officially priced at 7,999. According to the company, the smartphone will be available in Black and White colour options begnining tomorrow via Amazon.in, which will be offering a free 16GB Ultra Micro SD card bundled with the smartphone on May 27.
Among the other specifications, it has 4.5-inch FWVGA display, dual-SIM support, 1GB RAM, usual 4GB of internal memory and a quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor clocked at 1.2GHz for trouble-free multitasking. The phone also houses a 8MP rear shooter with dual LED flash, 2MP front camera for imaging.
Powered by a 1800 mAh battery, it offers wide range of connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi Bluetooth, and GPS. The 4GB internal memory of the phone is expandable up to immense 32GB via microSD card.
