It looks like following the footsteps of Motorola, the Chinese tech giant Huawei has also partnered with the Indian e-retailer Flipkart for selling its recently launched Honor 3C smartphone in the country. The Huawei Honor 3C, which went official in India just last week, has now available exclusively on pre-order from Flipkart with expected shipping from last week of May.
According to the Flipkart, the consumer pre-ordering the phone will get 1,500 cashback in the form of store-credit as well as free Royal Challengers Bangalore merchandise. The retailer is charging 14,999 for the phone, but given the cashback deal, pre-order consumers will be buying the phone for 13,000, which is a great value of money if specs are to be concerned.
Originally announced in China in December last year, the Honor 3C boasts a 5-inch 1280x720p HD IPS display, dual-SIM connectivity, and comes powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and 2300 mAh battery on-board. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Emotion 2.0 UI on top , it also includes 5MP front camera, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and microSD card support.
With this pricing and specifications, the Huawei Honor 3C seems to be a great competitor of Motorola’s Moto G which is also retailing in the country through Flipkart. The only thing we found disappointing in Honor 3C is the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, otherwise the phone is really a better option as compared to Moto G at least specs point of view.
