You’ll be delighted to know that the Motorola Mobility’s budget smartphone Moto E, which was in the news for past couple of days, is now officially launched in India. The company has today taken the wrap off from the priced for all Moto E smartphone at a press event held in New Delhi and London simultaneously.
According to the company, the Moto E is priced at 6,999, and will be available exclusively via leading e-retailer Flipkart beginning today. It comes in Black and White colour options.
On the specifications front, Motorola’s this budget offering packs 4.3-inch qHD display with Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera and dual-SIM supports along with 3G connectivity.
Running on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Moto E includes 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal memory, microSD card support and usual connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Motorola has provided a 1980 mAh battery to power this budget smartphone which Motorola claims lasts up to 24 hours of usage. It features interchangeable backs—called Motorola Shells.
With Moto E, Motorola seems to be targeting the local vendors and eyeing the large number of mobile phone users who are switching from feature phones to budget smartphones for the first time.
