It’s look like Tesco, the leading UK retailer will soon introduce its second self-branded tablet in coming days. The tablet which will be dubbed as Hudl 2 has been found listed on benchmarking site GFXBench, which explicitly shows the entire specifications of this upcoming tablet.
According to the Benchmark listing, the Tesco Hudl 2 will sport 8.2-inch 1920x1200p display with at least 5 finger gesture support, and will house a quad-core Intel Atom processor clocked at 1.83GHz. Running on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Hudl 2 will include 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
Under the hood, there will be also a 1.2MP camera and 5MP rear camera as well. The rear camera included in the phone is tipped to be capable of capturing 1920X1080p FHD videos and 2560X1920p stills. There is no information regarding battery and expandable storage capacity yet.
Considering the leaked details, the Tesco Hudl 2 seems to be the successor of Hudl tablet which is available for 99 pounds in UK. Originally announced in September last year, the first generation of Hudl tablet packs 7-inch display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
As per a recent BBC report, Tesco Hudl 2 will be released in September and will be joined by a Tesco-branded smartphone later this year. The smartphone is expected to come with high-end specifications and will reportedly take on the likes of Galaxy
