After including Super AMOLED display in Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series flagship device, Samsung is now looking forward to include the same display in its upcoming Galaxy Tab S tablets.
If a report published in Sammobile is to be trusted, Samsung will unveil two tablets in Galaxy S Tab series having Super AMOLED display sizes of 8.4 and 10.5-inches featuring WQXGA 2560x1600p resolution.
Rumoured to be released in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants, both these upcoming Galaxy Tab S tablets will be powered by latest Android 4.4 KitKat, and will pack octa-core Exynos 5 (5420) SoC (with Intel LTE modem in LTE variants), 3GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.
In addition to the usual connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, both these tablet are also said to pack IR blaster and fingerprint scanner like Samsung Galaxy S5. According to the tipster of Sammobile, Samsung is also working on a new flip covers for the Galaxy Tab S, which clips on to the device using two proprietary connectors embedded in the back panel.
These Galaxy Tab S tablets will be launched in Shimmer White and Titanium Grey colour options. Sammobile has not provided any information regarding its exact launch date as well as pricing.
