The Chinese phone maker Vivo has rolled out a new ultra-thin mid-range Android smartphone, called Vivo X3S in the Malaysian market. With the device roll out in Malaysia, Vivo seems to be looking forward to expand the penetration of its products in other countries outside the China. In the Malaysian market, this 5.95mm-thin Vivo X3S smartphone is available for a price of RM 1,399 (about $428).
The Vivo X3S, which looks quite similar to iPhone 5S in design, boasts 5-inch 720p HD display, and packs a MediaTek SoC with 1.7GHz octa-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and 2000 mAh battery in addition to 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Both these camera provided in the phone are capable of recording 1080p videos.
It measure just 143.27 x 71.03 x 5.95 mm, and runs on FunTouch OS which is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
In Malaysia, the Vivo X3S is competing with Gphone Evo, which packs almost similar specifications, but comes for a price of RM 899, which is exact RM 500 lower than Vivo X3S.
