If you are curious to know how exactly the upcoming HTC One Mini 2 looks like, here is the first press render which explicitly shows the rear and front panels of the alleged device.
The press render, which have been actually posted by @evleaks yesterday, indicate that the HTC One Mini 2 will come in multiple colour variants including gunmetal, silver, and gold. On the design front, the phone seems to be highly inspired by its bigger sibling HTC One M8, but looks like the HTC has included single camera sensor with single LED support in this miniscule instead of Duo camera sensor and dual-LED flash in gigantic HTC One M8. The single camera sensor included in the rear panel of the device is rumoured to be ultrapixel based 13MP shooter.
HTC has not official confirmed the specifications of this miniature flagship yet, but if previous rumours are trusted, HTC One Mini 2 will feature 4.5-inch 720p HD display, latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 on the top, along with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and LTE support in addition to usual connectivity options.
There is no exact word on when we’ll see the official announcement of the HTC One Mini 2, but rumours have sparked that the company could launch the device by the end of this month.
In addition to the One Mini 2, HTC is also rumoured to be working on One M8 Ace—a cheaper and plastic variant of One M8. The One M8 Ace is rumoured to pack similar specifications as original One M8, but it will come encased in plastic build instead of metal build.
