The Chinese phone maker Oppo which started its business in the Indian market a couple of month back, has launched its next product in the form of Oppo R1 on Wednesday. Featuring 5-inch HD IPS display, the phone was first announced in China in November last year. According to the company, the Oppo R1 will be sold for a price of 26,990 in the Indian market, and will go on sale soon in few coming days.
In addition to the 5-inch 720p display, the new Oppo R1 sports dual-SIM connectivity and packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 1GB of RAM. The internal memory included in the phone is of 16GB which cann’t be expanded further as it lacks microSD card slot.
It is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the company’s custom skin, ColorOS, and includes 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera also on-board with a 80 degree wide-angle lens.
Backed by a massive 2410 mAh battery, the phone sports a wide range of connectivity options including Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and GPS.
