Almost one week after the launch in India, HTC has started rolling out the flagship in the country starting today. The smartphone can now be grabbed from Brick and Mortar stores for a price of 47,689, which is around 2,200 less than its official price. The HTC One M8 has been also found listed on Flipkart where it’s expected to be arrived on 8th May.
Originally announced at the end of the March, the HTC One M8 was alaunched just last week in the Indian market for a price of 49,900. On the specifications front, the HTC One M8 sports 5-inch full HD display, and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage
It operates on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI on the top, and comes encased in metal unibody frame. It also has Duo Camera setup on the rear, 5MP front camera, 2600 mAh battery, and microSD card slot.
The phone is currently being sold in Gunmetal Grey colour option, however Silver colour variant is expected to go on sale in the next few days.
In related news, HTC has also planned to launch multiple variants of One M8 including HTC One M8 Mini and M8 Ace in coming months. The company is also rumoured to launch plastic and cheaper variant of HTC One M8 which will pack similar specifications but will come encased in plastic build instead of metal build in original HTC One M8.
