Oppo has introduced a new mid-range smartphone, called Oppo joy in its Android portfolio on Saturday in Indonesia. According to the compnay, the phone will be available for a price of Rp.1,699,000 (approx. 8,900) in Indonesia in coming days. It comes in Black and White colour options.
For this pricing, customers in Indonesia will get 4-inch (800 ×480 pixels) WVGA capacitive touch screen display, dual-SIM (normal+micro) support, 3P rear and 0.3MP front camera in the Oppo Joy. It also packs a dual-core processor fired at 1.3GHz, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and 1700 mAh battery.
It is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based Color OS, and supports 32GB expandable memory via microSD card as well as usual connectivity options including 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.
In addition, it features Quick Reach mode in Color OS that lets you draw a pattern on the screen and double tap on the display to launch apps easily. The gesture panel also lets you customize your patterns.
There is still no word if the Oppo Joy would be launched outside the Indonesian markets including India.
