Pantech is soon going to introduce a new high-end smartphone in the Korean market in coming days. The specs and the innards of this alleged device has been spotted listed at AnTuTu Benchmark database which suggest that the device will have model number IM-A888S.
The AnTuTu Benchmark listing also reveals that the Pantech Vega IM-888S packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC with Adreno 420GPU and operates on latest Android KitKat. It includes a massive 3GB of RAM, 32GB in-built memory. The display size of the phone is not clear, but it will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The other specifications including battery capacity, connectivity options and lot more are still unclear, but considering the model number of the upcoming device, it is safe to guess that it will be a successor to the Korea-only, LTE-A-capable Pantech Vega IM-A880S. The latter features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 5.6” 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, and 13MP camera.
