Flagship One M8 and affordable Desire 210 were not the only devices which HTC launched yesterday in India. Along with these phones, HTC has also introduced a mid-range smartphone called Desire 816 in the Indian market on Monday. Set to go on sale starting first week of May, the phone has been priced at 23,990.
According to HTC, the new Desire 816 comes with 5.5-inch 720p display, and sports dual-SIM connectivity. It runs on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and packs 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 13MP camera and 5MP front camera and microSD card slot so far.
The phone includes a massive 2600 mAh battery, and supports usual connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and DLNA. It also includes dual-frontal stereo speakers and Boomsound.
