In addition to flagship One M8, HTC has also announced a budget dual-SIM smartphone in India at a press event held in New Delhi. Dubbed as HTC Desire 210 dual-SIM, the phone will be sold for a price of 8,700, and would be available for purchase by the end of this month in the country.
As far as specification are concerned, featuring 4-inch WVGA display and dual-SIM support, the HTC Desire 210 packs 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating platform.
Among the other features, it has 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 32GB expandable memory support via microSD card, and 1300 mAh battery. For connectivity, it has 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, and GPS.
“It is a phone that everyone will want, with amazing technology at the entry-level market space. This latest HTC Desire range phone combines, fast dual-core speeds, premium features, at an affordable price offering for users with the best experience in this category,” said Jack Yang, President of HTC South Asia.
There is no word if company plans to launch the Desire 210 in other markets too.
