HTC’s current flagship One M8 is now official in India. The HTC India has today announced the launch of the phone in the country. The phone which is priced at 49,900, will hit the shelves in the Indian market beginning first week of May.
Announced globally at the end of last month, the new HTC One M8 packs high-end specifications like 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and duo Ultrapixel cameras.
It boast 5-inch full HD display, and runs on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
In HTC One M8, the company has included Sense 6.0 UI, which includes tweaks like Motion Launch that allows users to interact with the phone without even turning on the screen. A simple swipe will activate the device, Auto Answer allows you to answer a call by putting the phone to your ear without touching the screen.
The company is also rumoured to be working on the cheaper and plastic version of HTC One M8 which could be launched next month, if reports are to be believed. According to the reports, this plastic version which will pack similar innards apart from aluminum body, will be priced around $483 (approx. 29,000).
