ZTE has announced a new mid-range LTE enabled smartphone in the Chinese market today. Dubbed as ZTE Star 1, the phone has been priced at 1399 Chinese Yuan, and is available on pre-order in the Chinese market. The device comes in Pink, Black and White color options, and would hit the shelves in China later this month.
Running on latest Android 4.4 KitKat, the new ZTE Star 1 comes featured with 5-inch full HD display, and runs powered by quad-core Snapdragon processor fired at 1.6GHz frequency, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
Among other specifications, it packs %MP front camera, 8MP rear cammer1 with LED flash, 64GB expandable memory support and 2300 mAh battery in addition to an array of connectivity options such as 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB OTG, and GPS.
In addition, the ZTE Star 1 comes encased in metal frame, and also offers Dolby experience.
There is no word on the availability of the smartphone outside the Chinese market yet, but given the recent trend, the phone is highly expected to be launched in other markets too including India.
