Oppo seems not to be in hurry for the launch of its latest flagship Find 7 in the Indian market. The Chinese phone maker who joined the Indian market earlier this year, has revealed that it will launch the new Find 7 smartphone in the Indian market by mid-2014. The phone was originally announced on 19th March, 2014 in China, and is available only in the Chinese market as of now.
In addition to Find 7, Oppo is also looking forward to release five more mobile devices in the country this year, which will take its portfolio to a total of ten devices. The company hasn’t specified, which other device it plans to bring to the country.
“India is emerging as the fastest growing smartphone market in the world. As such, we’re very optimistic about the growth of the OPPO brand, which is known globally for its superior technology and innovative products. The OPPO N1 marked our entry into the Indian market and our forthcoming products including the soon-to-be-launched OPPO Find 7 will enable us to replicate our global success story here,” said Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India.
As far as specifications are concerned, we already know what kind of internals it packs, but to recall, the Oppo Find 7 comes in two variants– Find 7 and Find 7a. While Find 7 comes with 5.5-inch 2560x1440p QHD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor, and 3GB of RAM, the Find 7a packs 5.5-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor and 2GB of RAM.
Both variants run on Android 4.3-based Color OS 2.0, and include 13MP rear camera with software enhancements making it capable of shooting 50MP images.
