Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy S5 Zoom aka K Zoom, the successor of Galaxy S4 Zoom camera smartphone by the end of this month in Singapore. The company has started sending out press invites for the launch which will likely be held in Singapore on April 29 this month.
In the press invite, the company has however not exactly revealed what’s going to be showcased, but considering the tag line “Kapture the Moment”, it is not too hard to predict the upcoming device at the event.
Just 2-3 days ago, the Samsung K Zoom passed the FCC certification which revealed that it will have model number SM-C115, and will support NFC and LTE connectivity.
According to rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom aka K Zoom will boast 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It will be based on latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and will pack Samsung’s own new Exynos 5 Hexa chipset with six-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 8/16GB of internal media storage. Being a camera smartphone, it will likely to have 20.2 megapixel rear snapper with 10x optical zoom and Xenon flash and optical image stabilization technology.
Other information including battery capacity, pricing as well as availability are still unclear at the moment, but we will know all these very soon when the smartphone will go official in couple of weeks.
