Asus is all set to launch dual-SIM version of Asus FonePad 7 next week in the Indian market. The company has started sending press invites to the tech press for the event which is likely to be held on 15th April.
The single SIM version of Asus FonePad 7, which packs 7-inch HD LED Backlit IPS display bearing 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor and 16GB internal memory, was launched at MWC earlier this year, , but this dual-SIM variant of Asus FonePad 7 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and comes powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with 300 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 8GB of internal memory.
Rest of the specifications are similar to single SIM variant including 1GB RAM, 1.2MP front camera, 5MP rear camera with 1080p full HD video recording, 64GB expandable memory support, and 3950mAh battery with up to 28 hours of 3G talk time and up to 35 days of standby.
Along with the usual connectivity options and voice calling capability, it also has Asus SonicMaster audio technology and dual front speakers as well as customized user interface that integrates social media information, SuperNote app to add notes with images, videos, and voice memos and Floating App for easy multi-tasking.
We still don’t have the clue regarding the pricing, but the device would be available in gray and white color options. Asus would surely reveal other unknown information including availability and pricing at the launch event.
