After the launch of quad-core CPU powered Iris Pro 20 and Iris 406Q, Lava is gearing up for the launch of an affordable dual-core processor powered smartphone, called Iris 450 Colour. The phone which packs 4.5-inch FWVGA display and dual-SIM connectivity, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile platform. The phone is currently listed at company’s official website, however there is no word on pricing yet.
According to the company’s product listing, in addition to 4.5-inch display and Android 4.2, the Lava Iris 450 Colour packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 512MB RAM, and usual 4GB of internal memory, and 32GB expandable memory support via microSD card as well. On the camera front, it has 0.3MP front camera as well as a 5MP camera with LED flash is also present at the back.
Running powered by a 1800 mAh battery, it comes equipped with a set of connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The phone is expected to be released soon in the market, and it will be available in several colours like Blue, Tan Brown, Raspberry Pink, Ivory White and Pro Black.
