After releasing Iris Pro 30 back in February, the native phone maker Lava has now introduced Iris Pro 20, another mid-range Android smartphone in the Indian market this week. The phone which is priced at 13,999, comes with 4.7-inch qHD (960×540p) display with OGS technology, dual-SIM support, and packs a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
Set to go on sale in few coming days, the Lava Iris Pro 20 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and includes 1GB RAM, usual 4GB of internal memory, 32GB expandable memory support via microSD card, VGA front camera and 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash support so far.
In addition, Lava has included 2000 mAh battery, and usual connectivity options like Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. It comes pre-loaded with CABC (Content Adaptive backlight control) screen brightness regulation technology that automatically reduces screen brightness for 30% more battery life.
“With the tremendous response that we received after the launch of Iris Pro 30, we are now launching another product in this series to address similar needs at a different price point. The premiumness of Iris Pro 20 extends itself beautifully from Iris Pro 30 and we believe that the product will deliver an unmatched experience to consumers who want a combination of exquisite beauty and unmatched functionality,” said Hari Om Rai, Chairman and Managing Director, Lava International Ltd.
Considering the specifications, we can say that the pricing for the phone is little bit higher than what it should be. At this pricing we can opt some other better devices such as Moto G, XOLO Q900 and Lenovo S820.
