After the launch of flagship Galaxy S5, Samsung is preparing for the launch of several next generation devices including 7-inch Galaxy Tab 4 and gigantic Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in coming days. The infamous leaker @evleaks has posted the images of the alleged devices. The devices, which received their FCC certification couple of days back are expected to see their official announcement very soon.
According to the rumours, the next generation 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will sport 1280 x 800p resolution, and will pack 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, 4450 mAh battery, and expandable memory support up to 64GB via micro-SD card slot.
Expected to come in 3G and Wi-Fi versions, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 will run on latest Android 4.4 KitKat, and will include 3MP primary camera at the back and a 1.3MP front camera for live chatting.
As far as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is concerned, it is rumoured to include a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280×800) display, Android 4.4.2 KitKat with TouchWiz UX, quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 3MP primary camera sensor, 1.2MP front facing camera) and 16GB of internal storage as well as microSD slot for storage expansion.
Considering the leaked and rumoured specifications, we can say that the both devices are low-end tablets which are nothing but slightly modified version of Galaxy Tab 3 series tablets. There is no official word on the exact launch schedule of the devices.
