After releasing an entry-level feature phone Nokia 220 Dual SIM early this week, the Finnish phone maker Nokia has now rolled-out a new budget dual-SIM smartphone, called Asha 230 Dual SIM in the Indian market today. Priced at INR Rs.3,449, the phone can now be grabbed from the official Nokia Shop, which is also retailing Nokia 220 Dual SIM for a price of INR Rs.2,749.

Originally announced at MWC last month, the Nokia Asha 230 sports 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touch screen display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, dual-SIM (both micro SIM) with dual standby feature, and operates on Nokia Asha software platform v1.1 with Swipe UI.

Among the other features, it has 64MB RAM, 64MB internal memory, 32GB microSD support, and 1.3MP camera on the back of the phone.

The Nokia Asha 230 Dual SIM comes powered by a 1020 mAh battery which offers around 12 hours of talk time and up to 21 days of standby time to users. On the connectivity front, the phone has 2G, and Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM.

Preloaded with Nokia Xpress Browser and popular apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, LINE and WeChat, the Nokia Asha 230 Dual SIM comes in Bright Red, Yellow, Bright Green, White, Black and Cyan color options.
