The native phone maker Intex has introduced two new budget dual-SIM Android smartphones in the Cloud series in the Indian market today. Targeted at the price-conscious consumers, the phones are dubbed as Cloud X1+ and Cloud Y11 which have been officially priced at 2,990 and 4,490 respectively.
According to the press release issued by Intex, the Cloud X1+ comes with 3.5-inch HVGA display, and operates on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread accompanied with 1GHz processor and just 128MB of RAM which is not acceptable at all. It also packs 2MP rear camera, 256MB of internal storage, 1250 mAh battery, Wi-Fi and 2G support.
If we talk about Intex Cloud Y11, the phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and comes powered by 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 256 MB RAM and 512MB of internal media storage. It boasts 4-inch WVGA display, dual-SIM support, 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, usual connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 1400 mAh battery.
There is no word on the exact availability of either phones, but the products listing at Flipkart indicate that the phones would hit the shelves soon in coming days.
