In addition to Titanium Hexa, Karbonn has also announced the company’s first octa-core processor powered smartphones named Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane Plus in the Indian market yesterday. According to the company, these smartphones are priced at 14,490 and 17,990 respectively, and would be available for purchase along with Titanium Hexa at the end of April 2014.
In addition to the 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU, both these phones comes powered by latest Android 4.4 KitKat, and include dual-SIM support, 16GB internal memory, 2000 mAh battery, usual 32GB microSD card support and an array of connectivity features such as 3G HSPA+ (up to 42.2 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The Karbonn Titanium Octane boasts 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, and packs 1GB RAM, 13MP auto focus camera with LED Flash and 5MP front-facing camera.
On the other hand, Karbonn Titanium Plus comes featured with 5-inch full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolutions. Unlike Titanium Octane, it includes 2GB of RAM and a better camera department which comprises of 16MP auto focus camera with LED Flash and 8MP front-facing camera. The Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus would compete with the recently launched Micromax Canvas Knight A350 that has comes featured with similar features.
