Sony has officially announced the launch of Xperia Z1 Compact smartphone in the Indian market. The company has listed the phone at their website for a price of 36,990, but the leading e-retailer Snapdeal is offering the phone for a best buy price of 36,898. It can also be grabbed from Infibeam which is selling the phone at official price.
Originally announced and showcased at CES early this year, the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact is a mini version of company’s current flagship Xperia Z. Soon after the launch phone went on pre-order in several European countries, and earlier this month, it hit the shelves in UK and Germany followed by Sweden.
Specifications of the phone are already known, but to remind, this miniature flagship boasts 4.3-inch 720p HD Triluminos display, 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor 2MP front shooter and 20.7MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RS for mobile image sensor.
It works on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and packs 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, up to 64GB expandable memory support via microSD card, and a powerful 2300 mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, and ANT+ wireless technology.
Like gigantic Xperia Z1, the Xperia Z1 Compact is also a dust water-resistant device. The phone has been getting rave reviews from all around the world and is probably the best small flagship smartphone.
It comes in several colour options including Lime, Black, White and Pink.
