Following the leaks of upcoming smartphones Sony Sirius and Xperia G, details and alleged image of the successor of existing Xperia Tablet Z have been leaked online this week. The details of the alleged tablet, Sony Tablet Z2 have been leaked by prolific leaker @evleaks on Sunday.
According to the @evleaks, the upcoming Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet will pack the same 10.1-innch Triluminos HD WUXGA display bearing a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels as the predecessor Xperia Tablet Z that was launched last year, but it will be powered by latest Android 4.4 KitKat and a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor instead of Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, 3GB of RAM and 6000 mAh battery.
The tablet will be 0.5mm slimmer than existing Xperia Tablet Z, and will come with dust and water-resistant capabilities like other high end Xperia devices. On the camera front, it will include 8MP rear and 2MP front shooter.
No word on its exact launch and availability yet, but considering the upcoming MWC exhibition just around the corner, Sony is expected to showcase this tablet along with other rumoured devices at the event.
