Samsung India has started selling awaited mid-range Galaxy Grand Neo smartphone in the Indian market from yesterday. The phone can now be grabbed from several online retailers as well as Samsung’s authorized stores and leading retail outlets across the country. The leading e-retailer Infibeam is offering the phone for a best buy price of 17,901 to the customers, which is almost 1,100 lesser than its official price (19,010).
The specifications of the phone are already known, but to remind, it packs 5-inch capacitive touch screen WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and smart dual-SIM support like other Samsung smartphones.
It works on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and comes powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with the support of 1GB of RAM, 8GB/16GB of internal storage, 64GB expandable memory support and 2,100 mAh battery.
Among the other innards, it has 5MP AF camera with LED flash support, 0.3MP VGA front camera, and usual connectivity options including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Available in Black and White colours, the phone is expected to be announced today at the Samsung Forum 2014 in Bali.
