Gionee India has officially announced the launch of two mid-range smartphones, Gpad G4 and Gionee M2 in the Indian market today. According to the company, the phones come with carrying a price tags of INR Rs.18,999 and INR Rs.10,999 respectively, and are already on sale in the country.

The new Gionee Gpad G4 comes with 5.7-inch HD OGS display and dual-SIM support. It works on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and packs 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor, PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory and 3200 mAh battery. It includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording support, 5MP front camera, FM radio and usual connectivity options.

We already know that the phone comes packed in a aluminium body, and includes in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound as well as several software features such as pause video playback by looking away, Gionee Xender app and more.

On the other hand, Gioneee M2 packs 5-inch capacitive touch display with 854 × 480 pixels resolution, dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor with Mali 400 GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 32GB expandable memory support.

In addition, the Gionee M2 also has 8MP Auto Focus Camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera and connectivity supports including 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth with A2DP and GPS. The phone packs 4200 mAh battery with up to 555h standby and up to 24h (3G) / 31.5h (2G) talk time.

The Gionee M2 comes in Black and White colors, and Gionee GPad G4 comes in Graphite Black and Silver metallic colours. Both the phones can be grabbed from several online retailers including Saholic which is offering Gpad G4 for a discounted price of INR Rs.17,849 in the country.
