LG has announced the launch of its next generation L Series III smartphones L40, L70 and L90 today in South Korea. According to the company, all these smartphone work on latest Android 4.4 KitKat and look more premium with seamless layout, delicate finishing, narrow bezel and refined metallic frame. All these phone come with Quick Window cover which protects the phone drops and bumps.
If we talk about the phones individually, LG L40 comes with 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB on-board storage and 1700 mAh or 1500 mAh battery depending on the market. It includes 3MP rear camera, 32GB expandable memory via microSD card and usual connectivity options including 3G as well.
On the other hand, LG L70 boasts 4.5-inch (800 x 400 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, and packs 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 8MP or 5MP rear camera depending on the market and 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera.
Powered by 2,100 mAh battery, the phone includes 32GB expandable memory support as well as 3G (HSPA+21Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
LG L90 comes featured with relatively larger 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, and more powerful quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Among other features, it has 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2540 mAh battery and usual connectivity options.
According to the company, all these phones come in Black and White colour options. Pricing of the devices are not clear at the moment. The company is expected to showcase all these devices at upcoming MWC event later this month.
