Following the rival LG which unveiled its first triple-SIM smartphone in the form of Optimus L1 II Tri in Brazil, Samsung has also introduced similar triple SIM connectivity device, called Galaxy Star Trios in this Latin American country. The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios can be seen listed at Samsung Brazil website which also reveals the full specifications of the device.
According to Samsung Brazil product listing, the new triple-SIM Samsung Galaxy Star Trios packs 3.14-inch (320 x 240 pixels) TFT screen and works on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
It is powered by a 1GHz single-core Qualcommm Snapdragon MSM7225A processor, and includes FM radio, 4GB internal storage, and 2MP rear camera without flash. The phone packs 1300 mAh battery.
As we can see, most of the specifications are similar to the Galaxy Star, but this one has 3G connectivity and also has Samsung’s Always ON triple SIM support.
The phone is already available for a best buy price of 400 Brazilian Real (approx 10,360)in Brazil. There is no word on its global availability yet.
