The purported images of two new upcoming devices, Ascend P7 and MediaPad X1 tablet from the house of Huawei, have been leaked online on Friday. The Huawei Ascend P7, which are highly expected to be showcased at MWC -2014 exhibition later this month, is a successor of existing super slim Ascend P6 that was announced back in October last year in India for a price of 29,999.
The specifications of the Ascend P7 are not official at the moment, but if some rumors aired last year are to be believed, Huawei’s this flagship will pack upgraded innards including 5-inch FHD 1080p display, a quad-core HiSilicon 910 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage, 13MP main camera, 8MP front-facing camera, and 2,460mAh battery.
The leaked image apparently reveals that the phone will pack 4G LTE support along with other connectivity options.
In addition, the image of the Huawei MediaPad X1 tablet has also been leaked. The tablet was first seen listed at TENNA (the Chinese equivalent of FCC) website earlier this month.
According to the TENNA listing, the MediaPad X1 tablet is claimed to support 7-inch 1,920 x 1,200 pixel screen (same as the Nexus), the same HiSilicon chip as the Ascend P7, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The tablet is also said to support dual-SIM (GSM+WCDMA )voice-calling facility and 3G/LTE connectivity as well.
The MediaPad X1 will reportedly be priced around CNY 1,200, which is roughly $200. For reference, the LTE-enabled Nexus 7 (2013) is $350.
