After the successful launch of flagship N1, Oppo has announced the launch of its second smartphone in the Indian market today. The phone is dubbed as Oppo Neo, and unlike N1, it’s a mid-range smartphone which is priced at 11,990.
According to the press release shared by company, the Oppo Neo features 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS sensitive touch screen with glove mode and dual-SIM support. It works on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based Color ROM, and packs 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and usual 4GB of internal storage.
Among other specifications, it has 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 32GB microSD support and usual connectivity features such as 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Oppo has included 1900 mAh battery to the phone which is rated to offer ample talk time and standby time to users.
In addition, the frame of Oppo Neo is made of high-end materials and has Quick Reach mode that lets you draw a pattern on the screen and double tap on the display to launch apps easily.
The new Oppo N1 was first announced in Indonesia early this year, and India is the second country to get the smartphone so early. The phone comes in Black and White colour options. It would be available soon in the country.
