In addition to affordable Bolt A36, Micromax has also released an another affordable smartphone, called Micromax A47 in the Indian market. This affordable dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone has been priced at INR Rs.4,169, and is available at Saholic, which also retailing several new Micromax products in the country.

According to company, the new Micromax A47 boasts 4-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display, and works on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The phone packs a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB internal storage, and comes with a microSD slot which can be used to expand the storage up to 32GB.

On the camera front, the phone has VGA front camera and 2MP rear camera to capture images and record videos. Other features include FM radio, mobile tracker and music player.

The phone gets its power from a 1600 mAh battery, which s rated to provide ample talk time and standby time to users. As far as connectivity options are concerned, it comes with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB support.

With these features and price tag, the new Micromax A47 is competing with the like of Lava Iris 404e, Intex Cloud X12, Spice Smart Flo Mettle 4X Mi-426 and other similar smartphones which are already available in the Indian market.
