In addition to mid-range Iris Pro 30, Lava has also started selling a new affordable dual-SIM Android smartphone in the country starting Saturday. The phone, called Lava Iris 408e is priced at 3,829, and is available at e-retailer Saholic with expected deliver from 6th February across the country.
Lava Iris 408e boasts 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, and comes powered by outdated Android v2.3 (Gingerbread), backed by 1GHz processor paired with 256MB RAM and 512MB of internal memory.
In addition, the phone has 3MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 32GB expandable memory support and usual connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-FI, GPRS and EDGE.
The new Lava Iris 408e gets its power from a 1500 mAh battery which is rated to offer 5 hours of talk time and 8 days of standby time in 2G network. The phone comes only in Black color option.
The phone will be competing with the likes of Micromax Bolt A36 and Spice Smart Flo Mettle 3.5X Mi-356 which are retailing in the country for 3,659 and 3,549 respectively, and come packed with almost similar specifications.
