Samsung has finally officially announced the launch of a version of current flagship Galaxy Note 3 in the form of Galaxy Note 3 Neo on Friday. According to the company, the phone will be released in both 3G and LTE+ versions around the world starting this month.
According to the press release issued by Samsung, both versions of Galaxy Note 3 Neo pack 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8MP camera, 2MP front camera, microSD card slot, 3100 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, NFC, IR blaster, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The LTE version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo includes a hexa-core processor (1.7GHz A15 dual + 1.3GHz A7 quad), while the 3G variant is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core processor. Both variants pack 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and 3100 mAh battery on-board.
In addition, like all Note-series devices, Note 3 Neo includes S-Pen stylus and the compatible apps like Air Command, Easy Clip etc. It will also support Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
There is no word on the pricing at this moment, which will most likely be revealed at the local launch events by the company.
