HTC has announced the launch of a new Desire-series mid-range smartphone, called Desire 310 today. According to the company, the HTC Desire 310 features 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering 854 x 480 pixels resolution, HTC BlinkFeed home screen and operates on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

In this dual-SIM smartphone, HTC has used a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz from the house of MediaTek, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, and 2000 mAh battery to power the phone.

The phone also includes 5MP rear camera without flash, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and usual 32GB expandable storage support via microSD card.

On the connectivity front, the HTC Desire 310 comes the support of 3G (HSDPA: 21 Mbps, HSUPA: 5.76 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX and GPS.

The HTC Desire 310 comes in Black and White colour options. There is no word on the pricing yet.
