Gionee has released its latest flagship device in the form of GPad G4 in the Indian market today. The online retailer Snapdeal has started selling the device for 18,999 in the country. The flagship comes in White and Black colors options.
The 5.7-inch Gionee GPad G4 comes with dual-SIM (2G+3G)support and boasts HD OGS display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It operates on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and packs a quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor clocked at 1.5GHz, paired with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU.
The other innards of the smartphone include 1GB RAM, 16GB on-board storage, 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording support, 5MP front camera and 3200 mAh battery.
The phone comes packed in a aluminium body, and includes in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) Sound as well as several software features such as pause video playback by looking away, Gionee Xender app and more.
As far as connectivity features are concerned, it has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS/A-GPS.
The Gionee GPad G4 is the 3rd iteration in GPad series after GPad 2 and GPad 3. The existing GPad 2 and GPad 3, launched last year feature 5.3-inch and 5.5-inch display respectively and include quad-core processor and 1GB RAM.
